Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty, born on the 1st of October, 1995 was raised in Berkeley, California. She is an actress, known for Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into a family of actors and film makers, two careers which she's been pursuing. The Church was directed by Michele Soavi. Red Wood Pigeon, the film she appeared in as Nanni Moretti's young daughter, was released a year later. It was Close Friends by Michele Placido which saw Asia's acting career explode. Cannes International Film Festival was a great success for the film. Daria Argento as well as her mother and one of the actors who was a favorite of Argento's, Daria is an anorexic teenager who is searching for the murderer of her parents Trauma. Asia was a part of Dario's The Phantom of the Opera, the third film she co-directed alongside her dad. The other two were Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. The year 1993 was the first time she costarred in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, in which she was Arianna a physically challenged girl. This role was complex and difficult, securing her an award from David di Donatello for the best actor. In 1995, she was a co-star with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration was rewarded with an award from the David diDonatello as well as an award called a Grolla oro. Asia's first short film was an episode of the De Generazione movie. Two years following, Asia became a director and made two more films. One of them, AbelAsia was a homage for her father. Asia's first feature-length film directed by her was Scarlet Diva with the film in which she played the lead actress, and also wrote the screenplay. The film was released in May 2000 in Italy as well as around the world. It was awarded at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
